Takara Belmont Group is committed to promoting respect for human rights across our entire value chain. As a framework to fulfill this responsibility, we hereby establish the Takara Belmont Group Human Rights Policy (hereinafter “this Policy”), in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Driven by our corporate purpose—“Fulfill the beauty of life.” —and guided by the Takara Belmont WAY and our sustainability policy—“Creating a society where the World can shine.”—we strive to support a society where every individual can live with dignity and joy, enabling people around the world to live true to themselves in every era.

1. Fundamental Approach to Human Rights

Takara Belmont Group recognizes the importance of respecting human rights and supports the following international norms and principles:

  • The International Bill of Human Rights (comprising the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights)

This Policy affirms our commitment to respecting human rights, in line with our sustainability policy: “Creating a society where the World can shine.”

Where adverse impacts on human rights are identified within our operations, we take prompt and appropriate action to remedy the situation and fulfill our responsibility to respect human rights.

Fair Wages:
We comply with applicable wage regulations and ensure the payment of wages above the legal minimum. We also strive to provide wages sufficient to cover basic living needs.
