July 21 Summer vacation free parent-child seminar
"The secret of fur" teaches us why polar bears live in the Arctic?
Our company, in collaboration with the local independent administrative agency Tennoji Zoo (Address: Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, Director: Takeshi Mukai), will hold an event titled "The Secret of Hair" for elementary and junior high school students and their families on July 21st (Thursday). We will be holding a free seminar for the first time at the Daishin Wakuwaku Hall Elementary School in the TENNOJI ZOO MUSEUM in the park.
During the summer vacation, the seminar will teach children, who will be responsible for the future, the secret of polar bears' fur, which is adapted to the cold. This event will be held to get people to think about polar bears, whose sexuality has been pointed out, and the surrounding environmental issues.
The seminar mainly consists of three parts. In addition to the ``secrets'' of polar bear fur and past research results, this 45-minute program will tell you about the birth and birth secrets of polar bears at Tennoji Zoo, and the ``current situation'' of polar bears brought about by global warming. In addition to being able to get items exclusive to the zoo, there are also other nice perks.
Parents and children are encouraged to apply together.

[Background of the seminar]
Since 2020, our company has been conducting joint research with Tennoji Zoo on “animal hair.” Gogo (male*) and Icchan (female) from Tennoji Zoo, who have a track record of breeding polar bears, have hollow cores of fur, which helps keep them warm, which is an important role for them to survive in the Arctic. Attention. Due to the need to develop technology to observe the entire hair, we developed the world's first vertical hair cutting technology, which had been considered difficult until now. Through our research on animal hair, we were able to make use of it in our hair care technology, including elucidating this for the first time in the world. Through animal hair, which is essential to our research, we aim to create a world where animals and humans can live comfortably, and we are holding this event to give children, who will be responsible for the future, an opportunity to think about environmental issues.
*As of 2022, Gogo is on loan to Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia.
