When using our products during a power outage (dental products)

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the disaster.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to customers in the affected areas, but we would like to inform you of the following precautions when using our products.

(1) Regarding response in case of power outage

To prevent unexpected operations when the power is restored after a power outage, please take the following measures.

In the event of a power outage, turn off the main switch (power switch) and unplug the power plug from the outlet.
Products where the power plug is wired under the floor Turn off the main switch (power switch) of the product.
Products with service outlets

Turn off the main switch (power switch) of all products connected to the service outlet, and disconnect the power plug from the service outlet.

If a power outage occurs, turn off the power to the compressor and vacuum.

Immediately after a power outage returns, the power supply may become unstable and the product may not operate properly.If you notice any abnormalities in operation, please immediately stop using the product and turn off the main switch (power switch). Please disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.

For customers with in-house power generation or emergency power generation, please note that depending on the type of power source, it may take several tens of minutes for the power waveform to stabilize after system operation. Please confirm this before use. Each chair or unit requires a generator that can provide a capacity of 1000VA (both 50Hz/60Hz) or more.

(2) Precautions for each product

  1. dental chair
    If there is a power outage at a high location such as the treatment position, you will not be able to descend the product, so if you get on or off the product in that condition, please be extremely careful to avoid injury or the product falling, such as having someone assist you.


  2. dental unit
    Even if a power outage does not occur, the power supply may become unstable and the handpieces may not operate properly.If you notice any abnormality in operation, please immediately stop using the handpieces and turn the main switch ( Please turn off the power switch.


  3. compressor, vacuum
    If the air pressure becomes unstable due to the power supply status, the handpieces may not operate properly.If you notice any abnormality in operation, please stop using the handpieces immediately and turn off the main switch (power switch). ) Please cut it out.
    After the power is restored, please check that the unit air pressure and water pressure are normal before using the product. If the normal value does not appear, there may be a problem with the compressor, so please also check the pressure of the compressor itself.


  4. Products with service outlets (cabinets)
    To prevent unexpected equipment operation after the power is restored, please turn off the main switch (power switch) of all products connected to the service outlet and disconnect the power plug from the service outlet.


  5. Dental cleaning device “Sokuwash”
    It is assumed that the power supply may become unstable and the product may not operate properly, so if you notice any abnormality in operation, please immediately stop using the product and turn off the main switch (power switch).
    In the unlikely event that the machine stops due to a power outage during cleaning, please restart the cleaning process from the beginning, even if it is a hassle.
    If there is a power outage during cleaning, the machine will stop with hot water remaining in the cleaning tank.
    When the power is restored, the drainage pump will start at the same time, and after draining is completed, it will go into standby mode. Please start washing as usual again.
    Please handle the connected water heater according to the water heater manufacturer's instructions.
