Approximately 40 years of experience in manufacturing and selling medical devices in the field of obstetrics and gynecology to support postpartum mothers
Decided to participate in the "postpartum recovery project" on November 28

TAKARA BELMONT Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; Chairman and President: Hidetaka Yoshikawa) Medical Division is a general incorporated association established on November 28, 2022 (Secretariat: Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture). , Representative Director: Hideki Katano, hereinafter referred to as the Japan Recovery Association) will participate in the "Postpartum Recovery Project" hosted by.

The "Postpartum Recovery Project" focuses on the mental and physical recovery (=rest) of mothers and their couples after giving birth, and by improving the culture and social infrastructure for this, we aim to improve the child-rearing environment in Japan and promote the concept of "postpartum recovery." It was established with the aim of creating a society where this is commonplace.

While the damage to a mother's body after childbirth is so great that it can be compared to the level of a "traffic accident," people tend to focus on the "baby" after giving birth, and there is not enough information or environment for mothers and their couples to recover mentally and physically. not. In a survey of attitudes toward rest conducted in August of this year, when comparing postpartum women to women as a whole, postpartum women were about 20% more likely to say ``I can't get enough rest because of my responsibilities.''

Therefore, our Medical Division, which has contributed to the industry by manufacturing and selling medical equipment in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, such as pelvic examination tables and delivery tables related to childbirth, for over 40 years, strongly sympathizes with this project and supports postpartum recovery. I decided to participate in the project. This participation is part of the Women's Healthcare Project, which is currently being promoted by the Medical Division under the theme of "We want to change childbirth in Japan" and promote activities and initiatives that support mothers before and after childbirth.
In the future, the "Postpartum Recovery Project" will publish a white paper, disseminate information on the website, and hold welfare seminars for companies on postpartum recovery. In addition, we will also send books to medical institutions such as obstetrics and gynecology facilities. We plan to spread the word about the project and disseminate information that can contribute to creating a culture of "postpartum recovery" not only for postpartum women and couples, but also for society.
At TAKARA BELMONT Medical Division, we will work on new initiatives and projects that support mothers and child-rearing before and after childbirth, with the purpose of Rise into beauty, Walk into life..''
