A paper on the usefulness of "non-rubbing" shampoo technology aimed at reducing the burden on hairdressers and improving the comfort of patients has been published in the Journal of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists of Japan Vol. 55-No. Published in .2.

This document describes the development of a new shampoo technology that uses the hands and fingers in a "kneading" motion, unlike the conventional shampoo technology in which the hands are moved in a "rubbing" motion, and also describes how the shampoo can be washed by massaging the shampoo. The technology has been shown to be a mutually beneficial shampooing technology that reduces the workload of the practitioner and also improves the comfort of the recipient.

We offer ``Riff Shampoo,'' a non-rubbing shampoo technology. We hope that this will lead to improved working environments for hairdressers and improved services to customers.

Stiffness of the “practitioner’s” arm (brachioradialis muscle)

*With shampoos that do not rub, no increase in muscle hardness was observed, suggesting a reduction in the workload of the practitioner.

Systolic blood pressure of the “subject”

*A significant decrease in systolic blood pressure was observed with non-rubbing shampoos, suggesting improved comfort by activating the parasympathetic nerves of the recipient.
