About outbreak of new coronavirus infected person 0813
August 13, 2020
TAKARA BELMONT CORPORATION
On August 12th, it was discovered that one employee working at TAKARA BELMONT CORPORATION Yoyogi Beauty Hall had tested positive for COVID-19.
As previously reported, this individual was one of two people identified as close contacts of a COVID-19 infected person on August 8th. After undergoing a PCR test on the 10th, it was confirmed on the 12th that they were infected with COVID-19.
In the workplaces where infections have occurred, we are coordinating with the relevant public health center and taking the following measures:
- Disinfection of the floor where the employee works, the showroom, and common areas.
- Instructing employees who had contact with the employee in question to stay home and monitoring their health status, including taking their temperature.
*As a result of an interview with the public health center, the employee's behavioral history has been determined, and we have confirmed that there is one new close contact, so we plan to wait at home and undergo a PCR test.
*The employee has now returned to normal and is continuing to stay at home. We plan to take the PCR test again before deciding whether to return to work.
We apologize for any concern this may cause, but we will continue to work with related organizations to prevent the spread of infection. Thank you for your understanding.
