Inventing a New Sensation Salon Menu "Yume Head Bath"
People's lifestyles have changed significantly due to the pandemic, and while hair salons are sought after by consumers as a place to refresh themselves, there have been many requests to shorten the length of stay to prevent infectious diseases. In order to meet such needs, we devised a menu of new sensations called "Yume Head Bath" where you can get comfortable in a short time of 5 minutes. In November 2021, we started selling the shampoo accessory “YUME HEADBATH,” which allows you to experience this simply by attaching it to a shampoo basin.
Exquisite hot water control that feels comfortable
We got this idea for making you feel comfortable in a short time from the bathing method called "Yume Head Bath," which is handed down at hot springs in Akita, where the entire back of the head, from the back to the neck, ears, and forehead, is immersed in hot water. What we learned was that there is a deep comfort in "immersing" that cannot be felt just by pouring hot water. However, the action of "soaking" in shampoo poses the challenge of controlling the water spout and the surface of the water so as not to cause discomfort due to over-soaking the head, so we had to test over 100 types of faucets. And after about three years from the start of development, a commercial product is now ready.
Repeated testing and discovery of a new type of relaxation effect
When you start Yume Head Bath, your senses will be sharpened by the stimulation of the gentle water flowing over your face line, and then your whole head is wrapped in hot water, leaving you in a relaxed state. This flow is the key to feeling better. It was a very new discovery for us to find that this not only feels good, but it’s also a new sensory experience.

In addition, the effect of low-concentration carbonated water or the carbonic acid tablet "♮ (Natural) for YHB" simultaneously developed exclusively for Yume Head Bath will help make the hair and scalp, which tend to be alkaline after coloring, become more neutral. By wrapping the entire head with hot water along with the hair, the amount and time of action of the carbonic acid ingredient are greatly increased *2, and residual alkali is removed evenly in a short period of time. It also leads to a reduction of damage and reduction of unpleasant odor after coloring.
