TAKARA BELMONT CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka City, President and CEO: Rise into beauty, Walk into life. which handles commercial equipment, cosmetics, and spatial design for barber shops, beauty salons, esthetic salons, nail salons, and dental and medical clinics, with the purpose of "Let's make a beautiful life a reality," held a career experience event for children titled "Aim to be a future barber/beautician! Haircut & original shampoo making experience" at its showroom TB-SQUARE osaka on April 24th (Sun), ahead of May 5th (Thursday, Children's Day holiday), to let children know the appeal of the barber and beauty industry and to nurture future leaders.

This event is part of TAKARA BELMONT 's 100th anniversary celebration. Our company was founded on October 5, 1921 as a small foundry in Nishinari District, Osaka, and celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. In the early Showa era, we started manufacturing barber chairs and have grown together with the barber and beauty industries.However, in Japan, which is a super-aging society, due to the declining birthrate, lack of successors, and diversity in career choices, In particular, the number of barbers is decreasing. Nakamura, who is in charge of this project, said, ``We want to provide a place for children, who have lost ``real experiences'' due to online learning due to the coronavirus, to experience the work and learn about the appeal of the profession of hairdresser. We held this event out of passion, and the response was better than we expected, so we want to continue to deliver a special experience while working to prevent infection."

1. Making the only original shampoo in the world

Start by choosing the fragrance that suits your child's taste, then mix the ingredients to create a one-of-a-kind shampoo. We put stickers on the containers and enjoyed making our own bottles.
2. Feel like a professional stylist!
Experience a haircut as a barber/beautician

Under the guidance of our instructor who is a qualified hairdresser, the participants experienced cutting wigs using scissors and clippers, which are actually used by hairdressers in their practice.

This event started on April 24th, and has expanded to include Tokyo on Monday, July 18th, Nagoya on Sunday, July 31st, and Osaka on Wednesday, August 24th. We plan to expand this.
TAKARA BELMONT will continue to provide a place for children who want to pursue a career in the hairdressing industry to share information and experience how they can make a beautiful life come true.
