(Headquarters: Osaka City Chuo Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Chairman and President: Hidetaka Yoshikawa) will be co-sponsoring the 34th Tokyo International Film Festival, which will be held from October 30th (Saturday) to November 8th (Monday), 2021.
TAKARA BELMONT was founded as a small foundry in Nishinari Village, Osaka on October 5, 1921, and celebrated its 100th anniversary on October 5 of this year. In addition to manufacturing and selling chairs mainly used in barbershops and beauty salons, the professional cosmetics brand "LebeL", which was created in 1977, sells products that are indispensable for hair and makeup for movies and dramas. We have received support from many hair and makeup artists who support entertainment, and have contributed to the production of this work.
For our company, whose purpose (= corporate purpose) is "Rise into beauty, Walk into life." we have long supported the hair and makeup artists who support the creation of works by all people who love the entertainment industry and movies. We decided to sponsor the Tokyo International Film Festival because we believe that our corporate activities are in line with our purpose and will also contribute to the development of the hairdressing industry.
In conjunction with this sponsorship, on October 30th (Saturday), the first day of the film festival, an event will be held at JR Yurakucho Station Square where you can enjoy products such as "LebeL" and "ESTESSiMO" that are usually only sold at salons. We will implement it. The content will be enjoyed by those attending the film festival. We will also be running a giveaway campaign where you can apply for postcards designed in collaboration with the 34th Tokyo International Film Festival, which will be distributed only at beauty salons around the film festival.
For the next 100 years, with the purpose of "Rise into beauty, Walk into life." we will pay tribute to all the professionals who create works with their own hands, and contribute to the development of the entertainment industry that touches and enriches people's hearts.
