In October of last year, we announced our purpose, "Rise into beauty, Walk into life.." In the beauty industry and the medical industry, which are our stakeholders, many women are active as barbers, beauticians, estheticians, manicurists, doctors, nurses, dental hygienists, and others. The corona crisis has brought about a severe environment in every industry, but among them there are many women who are proud of their work and believe in a bright future.

Therefore, on March 8 (Monday), International Women's Day, we posted a message through our SNS, "Believe that all femininity has the power to change tomorrow." I was.

In order to change the current situation, TAKARA BELMONT will make efforts to raise awareness of "International Women's Day" and promote it both inside and outside the company.

◆ International Women's Day 2021
International Women's Day is an international day enacted by the United Nations on March 8, 1975, calling for the expansion of women's rights and the advancement of their status. This year's theme is "Women in Leadership: Realizing an Equal Future in a World of Covid-19".

◆ "Believe that all femininity is the power to change tomorrow."
Cosmetics researchers, female employees in the marketing and sales departments of hairdressing equipment, dental equipment, medical equipment, and cosmetics took pictures with the "Mimosa wreath", which is a symbol of International Women's Day. We will post on each brand's SNS account and personal account. For our female stakeholders who are working hard even in the midst of COVID-19, we will digitally send two types of messages, one in Japanese and one in English, with the following hashtags.

The content of the message was created with the desire to share my thoughts through SNS with women around the world who believe in the future and are working hard positively.
Seeing this message, we aim to connect to the awareness of society as a whole by receiving and sympathizing with the thoughts and spreading them. I hope that many people will be able to see the copy that puts my thoughts on the post on March 8th.

◆ Voluntary project by female employees "Creation of mimosa wreath by flower arrangement club"

Making flower arrangement wreath using mimosa

On February 24th (Wednesday), a little early at the Tokyo head office, we made wreaths using mimosa under the guidance of Professor Kikue Kanriki of Ikenobo, an extracurricular activity in the flower arrangement club. Since each flower has a different expression, each wreath made from the same flower material has a different expression depending on the creator, resulting in a work with a different atmosphere. There are many types of mimosa wreaths that express individuality in various yellows, such as wreaths with a gorgeous finish that use fluffy flowers, and wreaths that use rolling buds to enjoy the process of the flowers blooming. It was completed.

Ikenobo Professor Kikue Kanriki
"I was very happy to know that there is a day called International Women's Day and that mimosas are loved all over the world."

Flower arrangement department employee
"I didn't know there was a day like this to support women with mimosas. I was so excited to make wreaths with mimosas while knowing the background!"
